On 13th February, 1915 the 1st Wiltshire battalion of 7 Brigade, 3rd Division moved into trenches at Kemmel where they remained until relieved on 22nd February. On 17th February, the day on which Henry Baxter was killed, Kemmel Hill was shelled. |
